Born in 1964, a professional life between Italy and the US, a Tuscan soul and a passion for IT. The European GC of Coca-Cola is the mother of two teenage girls and has recently been appointed President of Valore D, the first association of companies formed in Italy to support women’s leadership in the corporate world.
Sandra Mori attended the University of Pisa where she obtained her law degree in 1989. She then completed her education at the Yale Law School in New Haven, Connecticut, attending a one year master program in international law.
For 10 years, she worked in private practice in several law firms in both Italy and the US, working in the sector of M&A and intellectual property, with particular regard to the IT sector. In 1999, she joined Microsoft Corp. as Director of Legal Affairs in Southern Europe. In this position, she was responsible, among other things, of all antipiracy activities. In 2001, she joined The Coca-Cola Company as Region Counsel for Italy and then as Division Counsel for the Italy and Alpine Division. Thereafter, she held positions of increasing responsibility within the legal corporate function of The Coca-Cola Company, including that of M&A counsel for Europe, Eurasia and Middle East and senior operations counsel for the EU Group. She was promoted in her current role in 2010 and she is responsible for the legal affairs of all European countries, leading a team of about 30 lawyers, including both Business Unit counsels and functional experts, located in more than 10 different countries.
